• Is INICIA comedogenic?

INICIA is dermatologist-tested and developed for all skin types. In our formulation, ingredients with potential comedogenic risk are at a total concentration less than 1% of the final formula, making it unlikely to clog pores or irritate acne-prone skin.

• Does INICIA works for deeper complexion?

INICIA dries down sheer with ultra-fine silver and pearlescent pigments to give a "glass skin" look. A little goes a long way for an illuminated effect on all skin tones.

• Does INICIA highlights texture, open pores or fine lines?

Large pearlescent particles often emphasize texture and pores, which is why INICIA uses mica with an ultra-fine particle size to help provide a soft glow and light diffusion simultaneously. It also has film-forming ingredients which help keep pigments evenly distributed on the skin.

• Why does INICIA seems half empty after the first uses?

Each INICIA tube is precisely filled to 30 mL, like many other primers on the market. The extra space you may notice is intentional. Instead of including plastic components in the tube, this strategy helps to regulate the pressure inside the tube so the formula dispenses evenly, and doesn’t all flow out when seal is broken.

• Why does INICIA has PEG-40?

PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil does not persist in the environment like a plastic would. It starts with castor oil, and is gently processed so it can act as an emulsifier, meaning it helps keep ingredients from separating and gives the product a smooth, stable feel. Because it is water-soluble and partly derived from a natural oil, it gets broken down by microorganisms in wastewater treatments and in the environment.

• Does aluminum leach into the formula from the packaging?

We've performed compatibility testing to confirm the formula remains stable in the aluminum tube and that there are no harmful substances migrating from the packaging into the formula during normal use and storage. There were no negative chemical reactions between the formula and the packaging material, and no changes to the product (such as color, odor, viscosity, pH, or performance).

• Does the formula work with silicone based foundations?

Yes, it has many film formers that help it work well with silicone foundations. For best results, let the primer set for 30-60 seconds before applying the foundation.

• How to open?

To puncture a small hole in the seal, carefully use a clean pin, needle, or the tip of small scissors

• Can be worn with sunscreen?

You should apply Inicia 1-2 minutes after sunscreen, allowing the sunscreen to fully set
