Plastic could never

At AORA Mexico, sustainability isn't a compromise—it's integral to our promise. In an industry where 95% of packaging is plastic, we’re solving the impossible with 100% plastic-free packaging. We use noble materials—like tin, aluminum, and wood—chosen for their durability, recyclability, and timeless quality.

AORA MAKEUP

Our innovative mono-material packaging eliminates waste and ensures that every piece is as beautiful to look at as it is simple to recycle. And when our products reach the end of their life, they don’t head to a landfill—they’re reused or recycled, proving that beauty and sustainability don’t have to be a tradeoff.

Noble Materials

The Problem:

Over 95% of the beauty industry’s packaging is made from plastic. Plastic cant take up to 500 years to decompose, never fully disappearing, and sheds micro and nano plastics into the environment while breaking down. Overwhelmingly, 40% of all residual plastic sitting on earth is from our industry. This is not beautiful.

Aora refuses to be part of the problem.

Innovative Design

The Problem:

The three main reasons that make a product difficult to recycle are packaging size, material type and the usage of mixed materials. We know that 80% of a product's environmental impact is influenced by decisions made at the design stage.

This was a challenge we weren’t prepared to ignore.

Sustainable design isn’t just about reducing waste; it’s about creating a future where beauty and responsibility coexist. Aora is proving that bold innovation can redefine luxury and reshape expectations for generations to come. Our packaging design philosophy are words we live by:

No End of Life

The Problem:

The beauty industry produces 120 billion units of plastic packaging every year. Only 9 percent of all the plastic waste generated globally is recycled. Most of our plastic waste – a whopping 79 percent – ends up in landfills or in nature. (the remaining 12% gets incinerated, which isn’t ideal either.)

AORA MAKEUP

Redefining luxury beauty as sustainable.

Over 40% of residual plastic waste polluting the planet comes from the beauty industry. Aora is proving that beauty doesn’t have to contribute to landfills—it can leave a legacy of reuse, circularity, and bold design.
