Are you looking for a way to add more color to your makeup looks, but don't know how? Do you love color, but are afraid to use it? Don't worry, we are here to guide you with three foolproof and very easy to recreate techniques that will help you take that leap of confidence. Let's face it, we all need a pop of color in our lives, even those who are afraid to take the first step!

Mónica Godínez (mono_godinez), Education & Color Ambassador of Aora México explains step by step how to subtly and elegantly incorporate vibrant colors into your daily look. From soft tones to subtle transitions, we'll show you how to put a fresh, modern spin on your look without feeling overwhelmed.

Technique 1: Internal Color Pop

The first technique to add color to your look is called: Internal Color Pop. This technique focuses on highlighting and enhancing your eyes in a subtle but impactful way. We will focus on adding color to the inner corner of the eye in a very easy way and in less than 10 minutes. To achieve this look, you will need your LOOK AT ME eyeshadow palette:

1. With your little finger, grab any of the 9 colors of Look at Me.

2. With your eyes open and looking straight ahead, place your little finger right on the tear duct, pressing lightly.

3. Make light movements up and/or down, blending the color.

Technique 2: External Color Pop

The second technique to add color to your look is an External Color Pop. Instead of applying the color to the inner corner of the eye, we will focus on applying the color to the outer corner of the eye. This will create a stronger and more eye-catching visual impact. To achieve this look, you will need your LOOK AT ME eyeshadow palette:

1. With your little finger, grab any of the 9 colors of LOOK AT ME.

2. With your eyes open and looking straight ahead, place your little finger right on the tear duct, pressing lightly.

3. Make light upward and outward movements to blend the color.

To complete the look, you can add an eyeliner to the waterline to define your eyes and give them a more striking appearance. We recommend ADMÍRME in the tone “Durazno.01”

Chloe uses Blue.01 for LOOK AT ME and Peach.01 for ADMÍR ME.

Technique 3: Smokey Eye (but) With Color

This technique combines the elegance and intensity of the classic Smokey Eye with the emotion and vibrancy of color. Instead of using eyeshadows in dark and neutral tones, we will venture to incorporate color into the look.

1. To create a tinted Smokey Eye, you will need to select a shadow from your LOOK AT ME Eyeshadow Palette (preferably a matte color).

2. Using a fluffy brush, begin by gently applying color into the eye socket to create depth.

3. Next, take a small, precise brush and apply the eyeshadow to the outer corner of the eye, blending and spreading the color across the entire eyelid.

TIP: Diffuse or build the intensity of the color always starting from less to more.

To elevate the look, you can apply eyeliner to the lower lash line to enhance your look and open it up even more. And so, you have achieved a Smokey Eye with color that will make you stand out on any occasion.
